Yves Bouvier (born 1963) is a Swiss businessman and art handler. Nicknamed the "king of the freeports", he is the President of Natural Le Coultre, an international company specialized in the transportation, storage, scientific analysis, and conservation of works of art, fine wines, vintage cars, and precious metals. He transformed a small family company into the world's largest art shipping and storage business. Bouvier had become best known for his legal battle with Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev over the selling price of several art pieces. However, as of September 14th 2015 he has also been indicted on charges of concealed theft in relation to a number of Picasso paintings that were allegedly stolen from the collection of the artist's step-daughter, Catherine Hutin-Blay. Young Yves Bouvier early developed a passion for art, which he was able to appease by joining his father's company, Natural Le Coultre, in the eighties.
